Well done on getting to grips with the short timeframe. I know as my DD only had one day between exchange and completion we were still packing at midnight the night before moving. On completion as she was not moving far away her removers were loading her furniture into the new house through the front door as the sellers were moving stuff out the back door. It will all be a huge relief once you are in I am sure.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. I had a quick count up earlier on RS - we'll be a smidge under 14 weeks by the time Friday comes around, so pretty much bang on the average expected timescale really for a property with a chain.
I definitely don't want to go through the process again any time soon though - although it would be fair to say that had it not been for the one numpty conveyancer on our buyer's side it would all have been remarkably smooth and stress free - it's really only the last 10 days leading up to exchange where things have been particularly dreadful!
Starnac I can hardly believe you've been there two years now - mind you, I was reflecting on it being the 10 year anniversary of a certain "Wellyfest in a forest" not so long away - time flies!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

EH - your journey has been so invest-worthy that even I have been invested, and I've not logged in for a while! I just had to keep checking on you to see how you were doing. Absolutely delighted for you. All the best in your new home.

GAP!! Lovely to see you!
Waves to BC, SH & SSG too!
Today has started with drama...Voda have "helpfully" decided to terminate our broadband a day early - so MrEH's planned working from home around which ALL our timings for "getting things done" pivoted has now had to be scrapped in favour of a commute, and the office... I'm now trying to make a formal complaint, except they don't actually allow you to do that, insisting that everything has to go through their chat...
