I’ve not been doing much recently to focus on this due to new work but have posted here to give myself a kick to get going again. I had a big month in February, only aimed for £150 in March and am on £200 so far in April. Hoping to have enough YouGov points to cash out this century, especially with accounts I’ve added through YouGov finance..🤦🏻♀️
I don’t count value of free meals/food/other stuff but do love to get a freebie.
Good luck everyone x

I still don’t have a number but have a few updates
I had a £9.99 refund from a company where I didn’t use a discount code but I emailed and the honoured it anyway.
I bought a glass mug from costa in February, used it loads but retired it as it was a pain then it was recalled so got a £9 refund.
Took my youngest for a McDonald’s, he ate his meal, I had my drink and chips then discovered my burger was wrong so they refunded the whole £11.88, I also won a free milkshake on the drink they refunded but not factoring that in.
My daughter has sold some outgrown leotards and made £85.59 after postage so far.
My April interest amounts are £0.68, £4.81 and £0.42.
This brings my current total to £794.85/£2023.
Somebody had commented a while back that the govt energy help and council tax holidays shouldn’t count. I felt a little like I was cheating by including them but I think everyone has to work things their own way. I don’t include my side hustle earnings so I will have to work hard to make the £2023 without those. So far this year I have £1590 from the side hustle so including that and not the energy or council tax would make this challenge seriously unchallenging for me.
I need to do some survey payouts too but my balances are tiny compared to a lot on here
Total Debt May 21 £20,490.44 DEBT FREE DATE 29/7/22
Mortgage balance May 21 £177,096.19. Now £146,747.17
Mortgage free date. At start of sole mortgage = July 2042
2024 SAVINGS FOCUS - get rid of the car finance. Savings balance/outstanding balance = £11,857.56/£12,706.25
2025 Savings Focus - 33.3/33.3/33.3 split; savings for house renovations (bathrooms/garden/kitchen; whichever collapses first), save for a family holiday (probably our last one!) and paydown/offset the mortgage2 -
