  • hi i have been following this and started in January just saving money from different survey sites and money making apps.  i have made over £400 since January. as this is extra savings I have invested it in premium bonds and plan to add each month what I make on surveys. \Averaging an extra £150 a month which is a great help

    I am plodding with surveys but not withdrawn since my last post so hoping to build and cash out after Easter.
    I got a deliveroo code for £10 so used that to treat the kids.
    I also used my subway points for a salad for me and nachos for my eldest yesterday, which saved me about £6.50.

    that brings my running total to £672.48/2023

    Mortgage free date. At start of sole mortgage = July 2042

    2024 SAVINGS FOCUS - get rid of the car finance. Savings balance/outstanding balance = £11,857.56/£12,706.25
    2025 Savings Focus - 33.3/33.3/33.3 split; savings for house renovations (bathrooms/garden/kitchen; whichever collapses first), save for a family holiday (probably our last one!) and paydown/offset the mortgage
