  • Thanks FS 🙂. I've made a starting offer of £10k below but know she has another viewer this afternoon so don't expect to hear anything until Monday. I would need to fit a new kitchen but that isn't the end of the world but is a bargaining chip.

Anxiety and nervousness about making the wrong decision on a house purchase is understandable. I feel that way too.
Glad you have your art. Go get the brushes and art supplies  :)

Don't fret about the last few K.  If you want it the even £5K is not too high a price considered over for the rest of your life
Hi Mark - I agree. I wonder whether even the bargaining is a product of my uncertainty around moving. I have a really strong resistance to change while at the same time craving it. It's weird. Last night as I drove home everything was beautiful and leafy and the route I took home meant that continued even in the drive up to where I live now. (If you come from the town direction it's a lot less so). When I got up this morning though - I looked out and feel slightly overwhelmed by the garden and what needs doing and felt readier to move again.

I only realised today I'd had a follow up email from the EA to to say the vendor would think about my offer over the weekend and let me know Monday. Me and the vendor really got on - she knows I'm divorced and trying to make it on my own - and we both shared about our life struggles. I'm hoping that may go in my favour when she considers price. She still needs to find somewhere to move though so not sure how long that will take her either.

I stayed in bed 10 hours (after yesterday's 6 hours of naps) and still feel what I call 'drugged hungover'. It's a side effect of my anti-D in part which I took an hour or two late last night - plus I've been running on empty for work for a few weeks, plus the flu jab and house decisions. It will also be because I've not taken ADHD meds this week - I kind of feel if this is what my body feels like under the meds - it's good to give myself a break at the weekend.

I've unpacked and packed the dishwasher. I need to make myself get dressed and go out. I want to put some washing on before I leave so some of the noise is over with before I return. I also need to update my spreadsheet with yesterday's spends.

Thanks DIA. It's nice that others get it too.

I enjoyed my go at figure drawing earlier. I now have what I need to take to the lesson on Thursday.
