my personality has nothing to do with the arguementbuying flashy lcd tv`s on credit cards and having kids they can`t afford to bring up properly
There's nothing wrong with wanting the best for yourself. Taking outright joy in other's pain, misfortune or apparant lack of education to acheive that goal doesn't reflect well on a person.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Ive read a couple of pages of this thread and havent really seen anyone replying to OP, as I dont think she was actually asking for advice.

I'd actually be interested to see what people paid originally and what the lowest offers were.0 -

To be honest you and your ilk contribute the sum total of nothing to civilisation except hopefully, the eventual understanding that parasitical property flippers should be legislated out of existence.
property flipper ?:rotfl: unless you call owning a house for 30 years being a property flipper i would stop talking nonsense.
you sound like a bitter person who is unhappy with one`s self.0 -

What does that have to do with the argument then?

sadly to get anywhere in life you must take advantage of situations that arise before you , if that is to take advantage of one`s misfortune so be it.

sadly the housing market needs correcting, as prices are a joke now, i sold a house for 880k last year and i know the buyer had trouble finding the cash so hopefully it will be back on the market soon rising mortgage costs and all, so i can pick it back up for less than they paid me for it, bonus if they have fitted a nice kitchen and bathroom ready for me :rotfl:
wii_man has taken a bit of flak for this post but I can't see the problem.

#1. The people that run these "sell your house and rent back" companies are generally lying thieves and are best avoided
#2. This time next year house prices in general will be lower than they are now
#3. Cheap houses are a good thing not a bad thing0 -

Yes.
If you end up buying the house back - plus improvements - for less than you sold for.

I agree with that. The housing market is fueled by fear or greed. Winners and losers is part of life.RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.
