COURT CLAIM FORM - help with my defence

Time frame isnt relevant and all steps are all described in newbies1

I have now received a letter from DCB legal informing me that their client intents to proceed with the claim and the court will direct questionnaires in due course.
They also mention they are open to discussing settlement within a 7-day time frame.
Just wondering if you think I should discuss settlement options? I would be happy to pay the original reduced fine to avoid court and further admin.
Thanks0 -

... and prepare for probable discontinuation. Not a reason for complacency, so continue to follow the prescribed court stages until you reach the probability.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Hello all
I have now received a NOTICE OF PROPOSED ALLOCATION TO THE SMALL CLAIM TRACK form from the courts. I can't see this step in Keith P checklist. In any case, looks to be a relatively simple form to be submitted by 30th Jan 23.
My question is - shall I agree to this case being referred to the small clams mediation service?
Thanks for your help

Have you perhaps received a N180 - DQ form? The answer to mediation is in the sticky - basically - NO!0

Click on that link that @Coupon-mad gave you in her post immediately before yours.1 -
Okay, thanks. I can see that the advice is to select NO for A1 and D1 on the form, but what about C1? "Do you agree that the small claim track is the appropriate track for this case?"0
-
Also, just confirming you recommend I download and fill in the N180 form online and submitting by email to CCBCAQ@Justice.gov.uk?0
