    Hello and welcome.

What is the Issue Date on your County Court Claim Form?
    03 November mate

With a Claim Issue Date of 3rd November, you have until Tuesday 22nd November to file an Acknowledgment of Service but there is nothing to be gained by delaying it. That's just two days away. Failure to file an Acknowledgment of Service by 4pm on Tuesday means your Defence filing instantly becomes due.
To file an Acknowledgment of Service, follow the guidance in the Dropbox file linked from the second post in the NEWBIES thread.

Having filed an Acknowledgment of Service in a timely manner, you have until 4pm on Tuesday 6th December 2022 to file your Defence.
That's over two weeks away. Plenty of time to produce a Defence, but please don't leave it to the last minute.
To create a Defence, and then file a Defence by email, look again at the second post on the NEWBIES thread - immediately following where you found the Acknowledgment of Service guidance.
Don't miss the deadline for filing an Acknowledgment of Service, nor that for filing a Defence.

Do not try and file a Defence via the MoneyClaimOnline website. Once an Acknowledgment of Service has been filed, the MCOL website should be treated as 'read only'.
That's good then the acknowledgement should have been with them on 18th. However I've received no confirmation.
Looks like you may have sent your Acknowledgment of Service by post.
Why not file it again online as described in my earlier post?
That way you'll have instant confirmation that an AoS has been filed successfully.
Cheers Keith. Why don't they tell you on the bloody claim form you can do it online?!

Cheers, sending the email to ccbaq now. The defence on moneyclaim is limited to 122 lines should I just forget that method now?

But you won't be using MCOL for your defence.  The 122 lines are not relevant to you, because your signed & dated defence will be emailed instead.

    Yes...you need that.

It all makes sense when you read it slowly.

I wrote it in non-legalese and I'm not a lawyer; it is completely understandable and when newbies slow down a bit and just read it, they can see it is relevant to their case.

Just to be clear: YOU are the person who must read and understand it all because you will probably end up at a hearing in 2023 explaining your defence position.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
