Still no compensation from jet2 nearly 6 months later!

We flew back from Corfu at the beginning of June. Our flight was 4 hours late leaving due to the original pilot ringing in sick.
The next day I filled in the form on jet2 website for compensation. They said it could take up to 12 weeks as they are very busy.
Since then I’ve emailed back 3 times but only had a reply to the first one saying they are busy trying to get through a backlog. My other 2 emails have gone unanswered.
What can I do to get this sorted? Who else can I complain to?
thank you

They should obviously have responded before now but have recently rejected at least one claim on the assertion that crew sickness counts as extraordinary circumstances, relying on a court case (which originally defeated that argument) now going to appeal:

Thanks! Just read that thread. It’s not extraordinary circumstances they should have staff on spare!0

That's your opinion, and you're far from alone, but the regulations don't clearly specify that and as far as I can tell the only court judgments on this, other than the one being appealed, are from junior courts that don't set binding precedents. Happy to be corrected if anyone locates a relevant definitive interpretation from a senior court though....Jacks1919 said:Thanks! Just read that thread.
