Private plate transfer

It's called a vanity plate not private plate for obvious reasons. Doesn't make it go faster or make it private (stands out like a sore thumb) but hides age of car. Seen plenty with BMW as the letters on plates...
Does not always hide age of vehicle. many are say ML 51 MSE (one year out). Age related & personalised to the owner. But no one else is any wiser.Life in the slow lane0 -
My Dad recently updated his car and the dealer was happy to do the plate transfer on his behalf, but it will depend on the dealer of course!0
