You need to weigh into your decision making process that you won't win any appeal with UKCPM or the IAS second stage appeal and that UKCPM almost always issue court proceedings. Winnable at court, but there will be a workload to handle in research, drafting, evidence collection and ultimately a court hearing.JIL said:
I am all for writing an appeal using the template, my daughter says she will pay it. Her friends will chip in so £15 each.Umkomaas said:
Still doesn't say 'legally obliged to pay as the owner'.JIL said:Final paragraph
I suppose what I dont want to happen is I do the appeal, I lose and then it costs £100, I will then feel obliged to pay the additional £40.
But I perhaps think that's what the people who send out these notices rely upon. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

And if the person just pays for an easy life they are sponsoring the scam.
People who paid 'for an easy life' in the last year, actively funded the Judicial Reviews that STOPPED THE LAW CHANGING. This industry is about to be regulated by Government but it was all stopped, and it was people who paid who unintentionally enabled the parking industry to hold the Government to ransom.
Don't be one of those people.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Of course you have a backbone, you came on here for a start. Sorry for that bad assumption
You see, we know all about these money scammers and the very dodgy legals they use. With the help of this forum, especially Coupon-mad, a lady, you will win and collect £95 from the PPC awarded by the court
