Has anyone looked at their dashboard this morning? Mine now includes the kWhr saving for each session. Doesn't look as good in my case! 😂4.3kW PV, 3.6kW inverter. Octopus Agile import, gas Tracker. Zoe. Ripple x 3. Cheshire1

Yeah, mine has that now. Apparently my total savings across the whole scheme have been just under 8kWh which is less than I'd have expected, but I guess we don't use a lot in the first place.
3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day). Octopus Flux1 -

I am obviously doing something wrong with these saving sessions. I used 5kwh between 1.30pm and 4.30pm. Less than 1kwh and according to Octopus I saved 1.22kwh which gave me £2.75. I thought you used a lot during the 3 hours and not much during the saving session and the difference was the amount saved ?

Using 5 kWh between 1:30-4:30 pm means that your average load was 1.66 kW. I don't know how much more that was than usual, but if it was more than usual, then you'll have made some gain from that element of the calculation. Then you used less than 1 kWh between 5:30-6:30 pm, but is this more or less than usual at that time? The other part of your gain will come from this.millie said:I am obviously doing something wrong with these saving sessions. I used 5kwh between 1.30pm and 4.30pm. Still a profit, I think people have different beliefs of the meaning of using a lot during the 3 hoursmillie said:I am obviously doing something wrong with these saving sessions. We used 45kwh, normally at that time we use less than 1kwh...bristolleedsfan said:

I've just seen my reward from Eon Next (yes I know this is for Octopus) for the 13th February event BUT my calculations this time only tie in with the result by ignoring the in-day adjustment. So my reward was £1.38 instead of a calculated £3.05p. Is this the case (a reduced reward) with Octopus customers as well?
