Cheers for explaining guys. So nearly 4000 points was the best I've done yet and it was on a morning session where I didn't want to get up too early.
And I've not been checking what my 3 hours prior have been costing by taking meter reads ( I assume that's what you are doing?)

I'm new to this.  When do I have to use power tomorrow to get maximum benefit from 17:30 to 18:30?

I've been working out my net gain in £ @ballisticbrian.
Once Octopus give me the results*, I subtract what the electric cost me, then factor in what that saved me in gas, as I've been running electric heaters, and hey presto, a "net gain".
Usage figures from the Bright App and Octopus, depending on who updates first, and using that day's variable rate tariff.
    * I can do a very very rough guesstimate prior to the results, and I've been within 50p of their figures.
  • Just wondering if anyone has received the streak (bonus) points for the last two saving sessions.

I haven't, no. Not had the email thanking me either, so maybe both get processed together.
