Is there any way you could manage small overpayments from Jan to June to get rid of that 0% card then?  Perhaps trying the PAD (payment a day) way of doing it, even if it's just a few pennies at a time.

Things seem to be going well and it will be brilliant to be down to just the one CC by this time next year.
  • Thank you, and yep, I will try and make as many extra payments to the June CC to get that balance down as much as possible.  I'm not sure I'll manage to completely clear it by June but any less balance means less interest at least!  :)

  • Hi, have read through your diary, how fantastic to see you smashing the debt! I think the trying things, like a CC to pay off monthly, is a good way of testing where you are at. It is amazing that you were able to pull yourself back from that as soon as you realised it wasn't working! Keep up the fab work!
