Dog's odd behaviour

Options
Our 4 yr old border terrier is acting weird. She is staring at her blanket or the carpet when she is resting. She flinches every now and again. We have searched her for fleas, washed all bedding and cleaned carpets etc. She has regular flea tablet. Just can't work out what is going on. She's not scratching. Don't know what to do next as she can't seem to settle. I know its not a mse topic really but hopefully someone has some advice. TIA.

In pain, if she's flinching? Staring at the carpet not wanting to move?
Not sure why you were thinking it's flea related?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

She doesn't seem to be. And seems normal the rest of the time. It's just when she tries to settle down in the evening.

I thought she was seeing things in the carpet at first. But no other evidence.

Something making her nervous in the evening then? Have you tried putting her bed somewhere else?

She's on her blanket atm and she's doing it, if she goes on floor she's staring at the carpet. But she didn't sleep well last night, woke us up twice.

She hasn't recently had a flea/worm tablet that is having an effect on her? We had to change our pup's medication twice after she became gradually more affected after every dose. (Vet prescribed)

She has just had a flea tablet. It was just her usual one but I'll look into that.

Is the weather windy or changed? My dog goes into trance like stares if its windy or the pressure drops outside. We can't leave windows open when it's windy. It only happened in the last 2 years, vet said its to do with his ears.
Forty and fabulous, well that's what my cards say....
