Hello

I paid for 2 hours parking and according to anpr over stayed 15 and according to payment of ticket 11. However I was delayed due to road works temp traffic late at exit entrance with single flow traffic. Also with my grace period do I have appeal chance? Landowner of the pub/car park can't help me but told me to let her know how i get on and told me to appeal. Furthermore there app doesn't display car park info and googling the car park comes up with an old company managing it. Looking got advice and info on what to do or say when I have to go to popla

Where exactly did this parking event take place?

The keeper of the vehicle should sent Smart Parking the blue text template appeal easily found in the opening post of the NEWBIES thread.

It was at the lamb hotel in Manchester ring go 21633. I've already submitted an appeal in which I've stated about Grace period and made them aware of road works and time to get out of car park also sent them pics of known road works my payment andalso issues with information regarding their parking.

Did your appeal also make them aware of who was driving?

Most people who write their own appeals (before coming here and winning easily, as you would have done as keeper) have definitely said in their appeal: "I did this/I was delayed because..."

Or they have usually gone and chosen 'driver' on the appeals page menu of choices.

So frustrating and sad when people get here after appealing when they'd have won hands down if they'd just appealed as registered keeper.  Not impossible to win at POPLA but 100% certain to be won if you have not implied who was driving.

Why not just copy a Smart Parking POPLA appeal anyway.  Loads here for the searching!  Show us your draft first.

Why won't the landowner cancel it now if you tell them that Smart rejected your appeal?

And they haven't rejected my appeal yet only recently did it.

And they said she's unable to cancel it of manually as she's not able to whitelist and told.me to appeal maybe I should contact her again?

Regardless of me admitting who was driving do you think with the right draft I've got a good chance at appeal with popla if my appeal is rejected
