No.  We don't, sorry.  Unlikely... That's why landowner cancellation is required.

Unless you have dash-cam footage to prove the temporary traffic lights delay, or can maybe go and film it now, as POPLA evidence, if the roadworks are still there, you will struggle due to implying you were driving.

So sad.  You'd have won so easily.

No paying it though, obviously.   Give POPLA a go if the pub manager or landowner refuse to step in when you push them again.

So what should I do now?

Do I have a good chance with popla?

What do you suggest my next move be?

My reply already tells you everything to do and which to do first.  Not sure what more you are asking for?

    Sorry.

I'll try contacting the landowner again. I don't live local and sadly my dashcam has over written files of the day.

Hopefully I get lucky or popla will side with me.

    Really stressing about this

@Conradw why on earth are you even stressing about this?, smart are harmless and very easy to beat at POPLA.  Put it into prospective, even if you had lost you wouldn't be paying , so what exactly is the issue?

Anyway to beat smart at POPLA where you have blabbed about who was driving you use the appeal in the bold text below, that's it , end of, will be won in due course

If this is the Lamb at Eccles near the Metrolink station it is a Joseph Holts place.  Get on to them.  The pub manager is probably on a commission from Smart and the land owner will be the brewery.

    Yes that's the one!

I did email them and they said to send proof of parking to smart. I'll try the pub manager today know
