Hi All :hello:
My first report, although I have been following this thread avidly & appear to be just as obsessed as some of you out there...
My sig is updated, so grocery budget is looking FAB - just shows how much stuff I've stockpiled! :rotfl: I've even been cooking the odd thing from scratch (v. unusual for me, but one of my New Year's Resolutions). I had a "How much? I'm not paying that, I'll make my own" moment in Morrisons as I looked at their ready to roast potatoes - & kids preferred mine!!! Don't know if that will work for my other culinary delights...
I've spent a lot so far this year, but it does include all the presents I sholud need for DD & DS parties... Bought lots of Boots goodies in the sale, & kids DVDs.
This thread has really got me thinking (?obsessing) about how much I spend on STUFF so thanks to all of you who post & keep me motivated!! :T& as for some happy ending I'd rather stay single & thin

I'm currently running a Nuts Vs Zoo magazine poll, so nuts Vs suds will really get them thinking! :rotfl:
I'll experiment with my soapnut shells and let you all know if they satisfy my laundry needs. What a saving over the course of a year if they really do get your washing clean and soft. It's stuff like this that companies such as Proctor & Gamble would like to shut right out of the market.I reserve the right not to spend.

Just found the soapnuts thread, so here's the link and you can all catch up. I spotted a few names in there that I recognised, so perhaps those people can give us their opinions here too - do soapnuts save you money?
Going green with all these challenges - recycling, composting, growing veggies, doing laundry with soapnuts (soon), home baking (reduces need for disposing of plastic packaging), please feel free to jump in with any other suggestions and I'll catch up with you all again tomorrow.I reserve the right not to spend.

Morning all, off to work soon so thought I would pop in and say 'Hi'. Had a sort of NSD yesterday as I phoned and paid my water bill with my card, but didn't 'spend' anything else.
I need to look back and check what my budget covered. I've been writing everything up in a book, which will be fun to look back on, and is def. needed as I have taken on 5 challenges this year! (Most I've copied from Nykmedia!) I make sure I do my piggy points /clicks for points every morning to save up for my vouchers which will pay for Christmas (having said that I have bought most of it!)
My sealed pot is filling up with any odds we find and I'm doing well on my grocery challenge. Over all I think I've chosen a really complementary selection of challenges...and of course lots of lovely people here to help me on the way!!
So have a good day ...don't buy it if you don't need it!...and lots of money saving good vibes to you all.

Rock on, Martin!
There's me, minor guilt complex that I'm not treating the lovely lady to her love of Sashimi (although in all fairness she has been nothing but wonderfully good spirited about it and enjoyed the weird and wonderful alternative eateries I've sourced) and then voila! the weekly Tips email contains a 50% off at Yo Sushi voucher.
Oh, my day is made! :rotfl:
I love life!! :j
Morning, you lovely, lovely lot! :A
