(I don't ebay). Summer clothes sorted out and many dusters created! Kitchen cupboard purged of stuff I've had for ages and don't use. All given away. Thanks for this thread. I'd never have spent so much time in one day decluttering but now I hope to keep up the good habit.
I never used to do ebay but decided to put my daughters coat on last year as it was nearly new.I had only paid £8 for it in adsa and she had worn it all winter but it was well looked after and washed really well.Someone paid £6 for it.I was well chuffed and now anything I have spare goes on there cos every little helps.sometimes I only make 99p but other times I make an unbelievable amount.Try itlost my way but now I'm back ! roll on 2013

Was doing really well and got to 18:00 having no spend, then went onto pigs back and clicked into travel and bought insurance for summer hols for £29.00 for a family of 5 which I thought was good value for a 2 week holiday, also I always leave it to the last minute and you have enough to buy before you go on hols, so thats it justified, oh and a pound for the DS to go to Boys Brigade:TLive on a little over £4k challenge

We have done very well today. All decorations are down, and place vacuumed. We sorted out decorations and just kept the gold/red ones and the silver ones. We will get some more gold/red ones to replace the manky ones. Then we can just get a new colour scheme when we're really fed up with the ones we've got.
We've had a good clear out of the kitchen (thanks for your help DS). And we've been out for our first walk of the year, so intend to make that a regular habit.
Just got school uniform to iron for tomorrow.
Got my free issue of moneywise. Will apply for the other three free issues and set up a tart alert to remind me to canx them.
Back into our regular routine tomorrow and need to sort paperwork for the accountant. So a tidy desk day and then I have to sort out my scrapbooking stuff this week as it's on top of my present chest so I can't do either properly. It's driving me mad.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Wow, you people are amazing!
Unfortunately i'm too lazy to budget in detail like you i just prefer to have a number and do it in a more general, er, lazy way!
But i will post every week whether i have kept to my budget or not. If i know i have to post it on this board it will give me more motivation to stick to it.
So, this week i have kept to my budget!
Keep up the good work everybody :T0 -

luckily my budget for this year won't let me buy any new stuff, so I'll be using it up rather than adding to it!:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -

Well that's the end of my first week on my first challenge! Seemed to do really well, but mostly living off xmas leftovers and most dd's go out in the middle of the month, so it will soon all change.
Good luck to everyone else on the challenge.0 -
