    I updated my sig earlier but on reading everyone elses I seem to be the only one with huge payout so far :o

    Am I doing the right thing here? I have already taken off my direct debits for life/house/car ins, sky/tv license, mobile, phone etc I have also included my £70 catalogue payment too......is this right?? Does anyone else pay these or is it just that they are taken later in the month??:confused:

    Somebody help me I am feeling really cr*p at the mo as I am doing so bad :mad:

    On a plus side I should have enough groceries to last for the month, just buying milk veg etc :rolleyes:

    well I don't have any insurance payments or TV license to pay for and my mobile is my only phone so I'm not including it. I would include all you are including if I had them.

    How much more do you have to spend this month?

    I have inc the whole months direct debits so all I have left to pay out for is petrol if needed and food if and when! So in that respect I could be OK but it just looks so bad!

    Princess Leia - Are your insurance payments monthly or annual? We pay them annually so we have house ins at end of Feb and car ins in August for DH's car (I don't drive). We don't have life insurance or sky. I pay a set amount to DH a month which covers phone/broadband etc. and I'm not counting in my £4000.

    I have included TV Licence and mobile (though I'm on PAYG so don't have a monthly fee).

    Have you checked that you have got the cheapest rates for insurance lately? We've started looking as our House Insurance is up in Feb and we can save about £300 by switching.

    Don't beat yourself up though! You say that you've got basically all your groceries for the month? That's fantastic! I know we've got to do a week's shop tomorrow now our cupboards are emptying out and I'm also back at Uni tomorrow so my daily rate is going to be shooting up with travel and other expenses. *hugs*

    wow £150??? jesus i get mad if mine is ever £30 a month.

    yes e-cheques came out earlier than they ever have done before (my fault for not having the money there) aim for this year is to not get another one -yeah right lol
