Happy Friday.
So glad it's the last working day of the week, so looking forward to the weekend. This morning is an office day, plans for a little breakfast get together, there are a few of us that don't work out of the office regularly and out only contact is by phone. Will need to call into a supermarket on my way and buy something, unsure what yet! On my way home will call and get the groceries, not needing much, I have a list and a meal plan for next week. So today will be a spend day.
Currently sitting in bed with a cuppa and my laptop as Mr D is doing the early morning dog walk, my turn this afternoon. Been looking at some challenges I am going to join in next year and catching up on a few diaries.

Good Morning.
Been up since 6am, far to frosty to take the dog for his early morning walk, temperature dropped dramatically overnight, will be heading out for our walk in a bit as its looking much less frosty, less possibility of being pulled over by an excitable dog.
Housework this morning and the local community table top sale this afternoon, hopefully pick up a few bargains.

This diary is an enjoyable read. You have great enthusiasm. Feel free to visit mine. How is your pension income looking at 60? Have you checked your state pension forecast?

Currently sitting my the bedroom window watching 4 Magpie on next doors garage roof, normally see two but not four together.
What a change in the temperature to day, no frost this morning, which was good for the dog walking as we were out and about early, best time of the day I find.
Mr D is currently jet washing the patio with his new jet wash he purchased yesterday, he forgets to go through the cashback sites, yesterday we did and he has earned £11 cash back and we got Nectar points, think he is now converted after seeing the amount this morning.
Dinner this evening is a roast, meat is cooking, veg is a peeled, may just cook it all and plate up and we can reheat later as I am feeling a bit under the weather, think a duvet afternoon is called for.
I have been looking at the debt-free wannabe challenges, I have made a start on the 52 week envelop challenge, filled two envelops from what was in my purse, I want to fund Christmas from this next year. There are a few more challenges I want to take part in come the next year.

Welcome December!
No dog walk for me this morning as its Mr D's early morning turn, mine this afternoon, extra hour in bed. Its a frosty one again this morning.
Payday yesterday, all money moved to where it needs to be and regular savings have gone out this morning. Managed to make an extra £284.28 in November, the Premium Bond win help towards the total, fingers crossed for another win soon.
Plan for the months is to make an extra £100, and have 15 NSD, only managed 14 last month. Most of the Christmas gifts are bought, just need to be wrapped. Will be going to watch the start of the Christmas parade tomorrow afternoon and getting the decoration out on Sunday.
Early work start as we have a carol concert to attend, need to find my Christmas jumper.

No snow for us just loads of rain and it looks like its here for the day. Dog has had a long walk this morning and will fore go this afternoons walk due to the rain. Yesterday afternoon was the towns Christmas Parade, we walked over with the dog to see the start because we did not want to go into town as our dog gets very excitable around people. There were a few people watching the start and he behaved very well.
Made a start on the decorations, will get bits done through the week and it will all be doe by next weekend. Really need to sort through the decorations as we have so many that we don't use, a few are older that DS and he is 29 next birthday.
Today will be a NSD as has not plan to go out in this awful rain and we don't need anything.

Happy Friday!
Out and about work day today, wishing the next two weeks away as they are going to be super busy, have a long list of to dos and it getting longer by the day. Christmas leave can not come quick enough. Going to spend the weekend getting all gifts wrapped, finish putting up the decorations, dog walking, house cleaning, meal plan Christmas week, write a shopping list of our big shop on the 22nd, meals for the next few weeks are going to be what we all ready have in.
Will call to a post office later on my travel to change my £10 voucher into cash, took part in a survey for the National Centre For Social Research earlier in the week, survey was about the cost of living crisis, hopefully will get invited to take part in a few more surveys. £10 will go into the holiday spending tin for March.
Today will be a small spend day as I will be catching up with one of my colleagues for a quick coffee between meetings. Let the day begin!
