Missing kitty...advice please

I've just read your thread and I'm sorry to hear that you think this could be your cat. I lost my first one to a car accident and blamed myself for it as she was only young too and I was busy getting the shopping out of the car. She ran across the road and then on the way back got scared and then got hit.
The hurt does get better with time but I do miss her still. We got another 2 cats soon after and unfortunately lost one in a house fire.
We've just rehomed a kitten (well she's 6 months now) and i'm dreading letting her go out in case she gets lost but as Lorian says they are free spirits and they certainly do what they want to do!
Lots of hugs to you x0 -

i am so sorry. there is never a good time to loose a pet - but christmas must be one of the worst times. when i was 17 we had a cat who was scared of nothing from a kitten he would pick fights with dogs and foxes and win, he also had an unhealthy disrespect for cars - this was his downfall, he was eventually run over by a car and made his way injured back to our house but was not able to climb the backdoor steps to get in the catflap. we found him dead on the steps the next morning covered in frost. i was devestated, even more so when my grandfather died 12 hours later - i used to feel guilty that i cried more for bilbo that week that grandad but have since put it down to the fact that bilbos death was unexpected and grandad had been slowly dying of cancer for 18 months and was totally suprised.
cats become part of the family and we miss them like any family member, i hope you can try to have a good christmas, and pray that this cat that was found is just a coincidence and was not your mario. i am just pleased that when we lost bilbo he managed to struggle home and we new for sure what happened to him.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -
