    >We're all curious about what "something that happened to my account" means. Was it anything to do with changing onto a free bundle?<

What happened was that I had a £6 per month bundle starting, for example, on the 14th day of the month and it suddenly gained extra life which took it to the end of the next month rather than the 13th of that month. I got the impression that they were aligning all bundles with the month end.

I top-up my account using Now Mobile vouchers as they seem to immediately credit to my account whereas when I topped up via the website with a debit card the payment didn't credit my account until I emailed them. I manually apply my £6 bundle each month. I'd quite like it to renew automatically each month but I think you can only do that if you set up debit card payments - which, as I've described, I don't have full confidence in

The £6 bundle you are on will automatically renew as long as you have got the credit of at least £6 on your phone the day b4 it renews. You dont need to use card, now vouchers are fine

I've never set up an automatically recurring bundle - I manually request the bundle each month.

This is because my understanding was that in order to set up a bundle on a recurring basis you needed to do it via card and, as I said about 4 messages ago, I had a problem with a debit card payment not being credited.

If you have enough credit on your phone, they will take the money for the bundle untill you tell them to stop.
This is from their website.just top with a now voucher before the payment is due. You dont need do do anything else

OK I'll ask them to set that up thanks
  • You dont have to ask them.
When your credit is above £6 they will take it for your bundle every month. The only time you have 2 ring is if you no longer need the bundle

I have had to ask them! I've had an account for three or four months and have sent the code for the bundle each month. But of course I never asked them to take it automatically each month until just now!

Now, for the second time, my bundle has continued after the day I'd have expected it to have expired and my balance has started to reduce on a pay as you go basis. They're helpful and willing but I don't know where their system came from!!

Don't understand. Do you have an active bundle and if so is it mins texts and data? If so why would your balance be reducing? What are you being charged for? If your bundle has expired will you not fall back onto the free bundle?
Are you being charged for things outside your bundle?
What does texting info bundle code reveal?

You don't understand? Neither do I!!!

I have an active £6 per month bundle that should have ended and gone to PAYG but instead, on texting Info etc says I have an active bundle - but my balance is reducing as I'm now on PAYG!!!

It's a fault at their end, it happened last month too. They now say they've sorted it - we'll see!

I don't have a free bundle to fall back on, I have a balance which I have paid in by Now Mobile vouchers. What am I being charged for - presumably calls, texts and data.

Could you not do a one off topup through their website so you qualify for a free monthly bundle? As to whether you are on a package or not, maybe there is confusion between rwg and now over the renewal date? Does your bundle info suggest you have a full allowance untouched?
