    @CMD79 I know what you mean, I feel like paying debt for so long has been tough but I've changed so much. Having an unexpected amount of ££ coming in feels like cheating. But I'm sure you can do this, you changed your situatioan around in such a short amount of time. It might help to approach savings the same way you did with debt? I've already started a chart for savings even though it's unlikely they'll go up in the next 4-6 months. 😅

    @Deleted_User I think I would've included it if I wasn't close to my target without it 🤭

    I cashed out £6.03 from prolific.

    Total £273.84/£300

    I've sold two more items on vinted, so there'll be £10 coming in soon. There's about £14 pending in prolific and £15 coming from mystery shopping.

    7 more minutes until the octopus saving session ends and I can cook my dinner 🤣
    Thanks @jokono . I did clear £6k by myself, but I don't think I can really change. I think I need to add in our Help to Buy Loan and mortgage and car loan. Maybe this will terrify me into continuing.... I'm sure some will ask why I hadn't done that in the first place!

    Thank you! What I didn't say yesterday because I was so upset, I found out yesterday that I'm not getting a bonus. Long story, but in August, my line manager confirmed that he had put me forward for the performance related bonus for going above and beyond.... I now know that it only applies once you have passed your probation (no information has ever been provided on this including on my contract) so it'd only be applicable for 1 month, and when the board were do to meet to sign off the bonus, someone was on....wait for it! ..... ANNUAL LEAVE! So they haven't been signed off to go into November's pay. So, my bonus will be a teeny tiny fraction of what I've been waiting for, and we won't get it for Christmas. I was relying on that to pay off the last bits of my credit cards where the interest has been applied etc so I can close the accounts. I cried myself to sleep last night. Literally, cried myself to sleep. I have to get these account closed because I can't stop myself from using the cards for silly things like I can't remember a pin number, so I'll stick my £3 car parking on a credit card that won't ask me for the pin! Then, I've done that, so I'll just stick the £20 fuel on it!

    And I'm owed about £300 from various mystery shops that I did ages ago...  :s

    @CMD79 I didn't include the mortgage and car either. The mortgage is huge, seeing £333k of debt would be horribly overwhelming, I would never see progress. The car is on lease, I pretend it's a monthly bill, but I do want to start saving for the next one once the loan is gone.

    I totally get you with the bonus, we had this sort of disappointments before where terms were not clear, it's so disheartening. I hope the mystery shops ££ come in soon! Why don't you leave the cards at home?

    edit to add: yay for extra £56!

    Hi @cmd79 so sorry to hear about this, and especially that you cried yourself to sleep xx

    I know it's so hard, but this journey is never a straight path - there are always things that put us off course, but we have to dust ourselves off, and get back onto it.  You really do have to look at how far you have come, and how well you have done xx  You are normally such a positive person, and you have inspired me with your enthusiasm and positivity, so don't let this curveball put your off your course.

    Hugs to you xx
