  • Hello everyone. It's great to see so many people taking part and such great totals too.

I wonder if anyone would be able to take over running this challenge from next month as I've got a bit too much going on IRL at the moment to be able to carry on.

  • Morning, Yes thank you for this challenge I'm really enjoying it.
    Starting off today with
    1) 60p

Thank you to whoever posted about the PayPal referral scheme. I've referred my husband who didn't have a PayPal so that will be a nice £40 in a couple of weeks x

Something happened yesterday... I won £261.99 from some free spins, my biggest win by far, I never made more than £20-30. It's a weird feeling and I can see how it can be hard to stop after a big win, it's like you kind of expect it to happen again but obviously, more times than not, it won't. I also surprise myself thinking 'It's not even that much' but of course it's a lot of money to get for free. Really odd sensation!

It feels a bit like cheating so I won't add it up to my month total. I already paid it off the loan as that's my focus, it pushed it just under £3k which is amazing. I'll be thankful and try not to think of it anymore.

Sold something on vinted for £5.50.

    Total £267.81/£300
    01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0
    03.07.2023 - CC (0%) £9,859 / Loan £0 / Savings £10,110

Well done on your win! That is great news that's it's taken you into the 2ks on the loan.  <3

I really get where you're coming from. I'm not sure if I mentioned it in this thread or not, but my husband gave me a tonne of cash to pay off my debt, and despite feeling huge relief that I've paid off loads of stuff, I feel lots of other, very unexpected, negative emotions: guilt, worry of blowing my chance (which I'm 2 inches away from constantly!) fear of now being out of control with my new found disposable income... I dunno, but it's certainly not the feeling of elation I was expecting. I'm frightened of myself. That's why I'm not signing up to MB. I like the idea of it. I like the results everyone is getting, but could it get me into loads of trouble? Absolutely.

  • £9.52 for me today, from P/lfc and a sale on FB MP. Starting to declutter a few more bits. Would have sold 2 things, but typically one person didn't turn up, despite only messaging me less than 2 hours before to confirm what time she wanted to come.  :(
