Are you saying that UKPC are faking the whereabouts  of the signs, UKPC already has form for fakery ?

Yeah I guess so, or at the very least the version sent to me by DCB Legal was not what was on the ground at the time of my claim (Jan 2022).

I got an email from DCB Legal after I submitted the data access request and one of the attachments was a map of the signage in the car park, titled 'Signage Plan'. The map shows sign locations which are clearly not present from my photos. I guess they added more signs recently.

A site map is not applicable beyond the date of the parking ticket. It is what happened on the day of the ticket. What proof have DCBL given you that the site plan was on that day or prior ?

A judge will be very interested and so will the DVLA

Video need to be supplied on a durable medium such as a thumb drive, CD/DVD such that they cannot be altered/amended after submission, whereas a link to somewhere means alterations could take place.  Submitting by .pdf means that it cannot (generally/easily) be altered whereas a Word document can be.

Thanks for all the advice folks, much appreciated.

Should I wait for their bundle to come over before sending mine?

Just had an email from them today offering to settle for £200! Should I respond or just ignore it?

You won't get their bundle. They'll discontinue before that. Don't submit yours until the deadline if they haven't discontinued before.

    Hi folks!

    Got the following today:
We act for the Claimant in the above matter.
Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.
The attached has also been filed with the Court.
We will now proceed to close our file accordingly.

Another one for the ever-growing list!  >:)

    Well done. Yay!

    A discontinuance = a win.

ANOTHER UKPC ONE BITES THE DUST!

Calling @Umkomaas to add you to the list...

And we sincerely hope that you are au fait with the need to respond to the private parking draft Impact Assessment?

You want to help us change the law?

To be clear, we are nearly there; it's not a petition or some weak campaign, it's a final push on a law already passed, to cap the £PCN levels and ban the fake DRA fees.

The Government has a Call for Evidence open right now.

We are also wanting photos of unmanaged car parks, Hospitals near you with only £50 or £60 deterrent and Tesco/Sainsburys £70 signs please.

    All discussed here:

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6463361/dluhc-private-parking-code-government-launches-call-for-evidence-discussion-thread/p6
Have a skim to the end to see the type of photos I am gathering as evidence.
