Heating is on 24/7 year-round but of course kicks in as necessary. Not sure what temp they have it set to but Prob 21-23cpochase said:What is a bit scary is their average usage of 56KWh daily between 1st of April and 30 September during summer.
Where are you located, I can't really see how you can use this much just for hot water and maybe cooking. Were they still heating in April and May, and maybe started already in September?

Not really a huge difference. Most of us have not switched on the heating yet.

Definitely need to find out their actual thermostat tenp, and maybe suggest considering whether they can reasonably turn it down a degree or two.1

Maybe have the temperature around 16C overnight while they are tucked up in bed? A warmer duvet will cost much less.Barnsley, South Yorkshire
