We've finally had some rain, but probably not enough for some, but it's still very humid.  We are off to Norway next week with the in-laws to celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary, so it should be a bit cooler!

I was so very sorry to hear of your poor Millie, so very sad indeed, but you're right about grief is the price we pay for love, whether it's a loved one or dearly loved pet. I'm not a bit surprised at your dear Hetty, pets clearly grieve to. Oh the times we've seen our dear Jess, T even woke up one night convinced he'd heard her bark. 😔

Excellent news about about your darling lad, you're teaching him brilliantly! Good work with your saving!

Hi Siju, like you, we've finally had some much-needed rain, in fact we had 3 days of at least 3 torrential downpours, a joy to watch and know the good it was doing. However, it is so very humid. Thoroughly enjoy your holiday in Norway, quite a difference in temperature I bet. Congratulations to your in-laws!! 👏👏 What an achievement for them. 😍

I have kind of fallen off the face of the earth in here haven't I! It wasn't intentional, the days just keep running away with me, I don't think i've posted since last years declaration which is terrible on my part, I will try to pop in more often as I am still diligently potting!
Had a £2 coin yesterday, first one in a heck of a long while so popped that straight in the pot! Handful of shrapnel too which I didn't bother to count.

I had a very spendy day today (clothes for 14yo daughter, who I don't think I have bought new clothes for in about 2 years  ), a new handbag, to replace my 5yo one, that, being made of cloth, has rips, and has actually become smelly! £50 diesel, a £125 bill....


After all that spend, I thought I'd better feed my pot (save), so £10 potted tonight.
