It's fine Money_Choices, you don't need to join again as I transer everyone over,
numbers too, but it's great to know you're still with us. Your No is still safe for
you. 😃 Good luck with potting this next year!
Well done you, Ant, however, you've got your first roadkill of the year??! 😱 Fantastic! (she says through gritted teeth 😁)
Hi again skilly. My mistake, it is indeed 47, apologies for that. Fantastic potting on your first day!
Your not alone in reverting back to the old pots, Frogletina,
it's funny how we got so used to them, I miss the clink as it hits the
bottom. Unfortunately, we still have our shopping sent due to T's back
problems, so sadly, apart from a small amount of change, I'll still need
to use my SPC bank account.
Thoroughly enjoy the last holiday of the year in your much-loved Turkey and spend plenty of money! Take care D.
Have a wonderful weekend, folks!!!
Sue

I'm going to get/make a proper sealed pot tomorrow, but thought I'd put in a claim tonight.
I do have 3 'unsealed' piggy banks in which I've collected 1p, 5p and general change. I thought I might start by amalgamating them into 1 sealed container. Since I sometimes use debit cards and my bank has a Save the Change service, I'll also note any times I pay by debit card.
I don't want to set a target - anything saved will be good. I like the idea of waiting until next year to tot it up. As you can see, I have been putting change away in a disorganised fashion, but I've no idea how much is in there!
Thanks.
A budget is like a speed sign - a LIMIT not a TARGET!! SPC 16 No 048
Sign me up again Sue No total in mind yet, I need to buy my tin/s from the pound shop tomorrow.
@AntoMac. I hate that too - knowing what the first amounts in the tin are. I will close my eyes with a mixture of any coins in my palm & just add some of them to my tin, whilst throwing the rest in my sachel for later use. We'll soon forget anyway
In other news. I've had a nasty headache all day, nothing is shifting it, I'm sure it's been caused by that winter covid booster jab?

What a great idea with the coins. Think that’s what I’ll do too.
I’d forgotten about the covid booster headache and the feeling of being punched in the arm. Still got that to look forward to!

I'm back in Turkey for my final holiday of the year and I am loving spending cash instead of using a card.
