Cool so on step 8 i should just download it instead of waiting for it to come through the post and email it back to them?

I thought my next step was to just wait for it to come...not move onto next steps
Yes that is what step 8 says.

But you already have conformation that it has been sent...
I've logged into MCOL and it does say "DQ sent to you on 28/11/2022"...
    ...and I have already said...

Ah thankyou! i've logged into MCOL and it does say "DQ sent to you on 28/11/2022" but i havent got anything via email - is that where its sent?
But now that you have seen that it is on it's way, you can move on - following the guidance in the next lines of that checklist you were using when you filed a Defence.

There is absolutely no reason why you cannot file and serve your Directions Questionnaire now.
  • In the N180 form this now has a D section which is  "Suitability for determination without a hearing".

    Do i select Y or N?

The previous D section now seems to be the E section from the "how to fill out this form" guide here

Nothing is new on this forum.

This is of course already covered in a thread when the new question came in (June this year) and is easy to search & find.

Quicker than copying that here would be to search the forum. It is obvious what the answer is (if you've read the NEWBIES thread court process guidance in its entirety) but just search for & read the appropriate thread to see it discussed when it happened, 6 months ago.

Hint: go to the last page of that thread you have linked to.   ;)
  • Great.

Scheduled email for 10am of my DQ N180 to:
    1) disputeresolution@bwlegal.co.uk with title Directions Questionnaire: Britannia Parking Group vs {my name}.
    2) CCBCAQ@justice.gov.uk with title URGENT RE CLAIM {claim number}- Please find my Directions Questionnaire attached

  • Letter through from BWLegal this morning with their DQ attached.

    They say this
"...we have been instructed to proceed with our client's claim against you which may result in a final hearing in which we shall ask the court to award our client a County Court Judgement against you for the balance outstanding."

Are they allowed to wave a CCJ in your face as a scare tactic like that?
