BWLegal County Court Claim - Should i admit part claim?

Comments

  • Also unsure of the email to cc in for the defence email - is that BWLegal email?
  •  noticed a RingGo sticker on the side of the machine
You should make a bit more of this.  RingGo was advertised, then?  If so, then you were misled by the signs.  It is trite law (Consumer Rights Act 2015) that ambiguous signage must be interpreted in the way that most favours the consumer.
Could have just been me mistakenly seeing it - i can obviously go back to the machine and check, but no guarantees of it there

    I definitely would check.

Take a photo if it is still there, and embed the date in the photo (get an app on your phone in advance).

You don't need to send the defence to the claimant or their solicitors, the CCBC will do that.
  • Who do i need to cc into the email to the CCBC?

    Already answered for you.
  • I feel like my defence is just admitting that I tried to pay but paid incorrectly. Wouldn't this put the judge make an easy decision that I know that I should have paid or at least paid when i got debt collection letters?

My defence feels very weak, will submit tomorrow during working hours if nothing else advised.

    Thankyou for the help

Apologies, it said "Also copy in the parking firm's legal team or solicitors, whose email you can find on any other thread about the same law firm." on this thread https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6108153/template-defence-to-adapt-for-all-parking-cases-where-they-add-false-admin-costs-edited-march-2022/p1 at point 4

Yes, you are correct and it used to be advised when there were problems at CCBC and they weren't sending them to claimant.  Follow the advice given by @Coupon-mad, it is her template, unless and until she comes back and picks up this thread and advises one way or the other.
