Shame that this is over.
Why Bother, Chase is paying 1% cash back, Capital one is also paying 0.5% on foreign transaction. Both are no fee on foreign purchase with MasterCard exchange rate.- No section 75 protection
- No interest-free period between purchase and statement due date
- Many excluded MCCs
- Reliability issues
- Time limited to 12 months
I've not heard about this Capital One cashback, I thought they had entirely exited the cashback game?Chase is still useful for daily transaction that does not need Section 75 protection (e.g <£100) such as your daily lunch, dinner, pubs, public transports, groceries, etc.I Just checked it, my cashback with Capital One was still paid this year January 2022. This is the month they normally pay cashback. Also there is a bonus of £10 a year if you meet their condition never miss payment, not exceeding your limit.0
