Saw these today, my partner would go mad if I asked him to wear one, they are shinry polyester and look like a £15 suit. The kind of suit worn by a man who only wear hair gel when he puts on a suit.

He is not a snob as his suit comes from a second hand shop but it is 100% cotton, well made and only cost £12 a few years ago, everytime he wears it people ask if he had it tailored and where he got it from.

I would spend a day looking in charity shops rather than turn up at britney's christening in the same suit as every one else.

A suit for £15. Anyone ever wondered about getting what you pay for. "Cheap" is not the only thing important in this world.

And you can buy a chicken for £2 in Asda too - GREAT! - lets not think about that dreaded word of 'quality'.!

    Are you lost?

Agreed, went today to check these out at the Wycombe Asda. They had lots but none in my size (38R jacket) presumably because its the most popular size? Who knows, maybe I'm Mr Average - eek!

Anyway, someone posted early on in this thread that the quality was no different than a £100 suit from Burton, oh my word how wrong they were. This suit is a bargain make no mistake but the material is god awful. I'm with Phatmouse on this I'd rather trawl the charity shops than be seen dead in the £15 Asda special. You have been warned people, don't travel and then be disappointed.

My thanks to the OP and to the weekly newsletter for making me aware of this offer - I popped into my local and managed to get myself a decent enough looking suit for a bargain price.
It may not be up to Saville Row standards (in fact it's probably not even up to 'Man at C&A'!:)), but it looks fine to me and will do perfectly well for the occasional trip to clients of my employer when my usual office uniform of jeans and a tee-shirt will not do (it will also save wear and tear on my far more expensive, dry clean only wool mix three piece suit!)
I wouldn't wear it to a wedding or to a job interview (that's what the aforementioned three piece is for) but it's perfectly servicable as a day to day slightly smarter than usual outfit!
    Thanks again!
    Au Res.,

  • I saw these suits today and they reminded me of what they made me wear for school. However, at £15 it is hard to argue if you need something quick....preferably for a funeral after looking at them. In reality they are only a little cheaper than their original price. You could of got better in the sales.
