Well I had my suite for £15 I must say I am delighted with it, what a bargain I had a size 46 Jacket and size 38 trousers, the biggest jacket I seen was 50 and there are still plenty in Morriston near Swansea

At last - somebody back on track. Many thanks, I'm off to my local ASDA in Gloucester now, to check them out. We are going to a christening shortly and OH could do with a new image!

A suit for £15. Anyone ever wondered about getting what you pay for. "Cheap" is not the only thing important in this world.

And you can buy a chicken for £2 in Asda too - GREAT! - lets not think about that dreaded word of 'quality'.!

I see your point, but this is a MONEY SAVING forum - the clue is in the title !

If someone is after a cheap suit then this is perfect for them.

I bought one of these suits last year for £25 and to be honest, it does the job for emergencies like last minute funerals. Don't expect warmth from it, as I found out at a funeral on the last day of December:mad:

i went in to my local branch this morning expecting the worse. i was pleasantly surprised by how good they were. it does not scream look at me i am wearing a cheap suit which is good.

looks like a normal £99 suit that you would get from burtons etc
  • hubby got one from asda a year or so ago, he bought 2 pairs of trousers. its done him great though for the price its looking a bit worn now so we shall be off to asda a little later on....thanks for the bargain.
  • Also good idea for teenage sons who wouldn't be seen dead in a suit, but are still required on very rare occasions to don one. May check this one out and stash away for DS as have had last minute ' got-to-get-him -something- smart- yesterday' panics in the past and ended up spending a fortune for a 'one-wear-now-too-small' get up.

If they have any fashion awareness then I would think they would rather go naked then risk being seen in anything from Asda.

I bought a £20 suit from Tesco's a while ago, and wore it everyday for about a year. Good value, didn't look cheap, and the only downside was I got electric shocks when I touched metal objects :-)

But doing the job I did, I would rather have a £20 suit than a £200+ suit.

  • If you miss this deal, and are near an M&S outlet, watch out from time to time they have jackets for £5, and if you are really lucky you can find trousers close enough in colour/design, that people dont notice they were bought as seperates . . . alternatively, smart jacket and jeans is not bad casual wear
    :-)
