Once again, thanks Dolor. I had already downloaded the Bright app. Oddly, it shows 30 min readings for Electricity from 28th & Gas from 29th. Octopus app shows same start date for Electricity but nothing before 4th October for Gas. Perhaps I was on 30 min readings by default & misunderstood the message in my Octopus account.Dolor said:
That’s very odd as I thought that the 30 minute profile became the default profile some months ago: that is, the consumer had to elect for a profile that wasn’t based 30 minute usage recording.badger09 said:
Thanks for that. Looks like we’ve fallen at the first hurdle. Smart meters installed 28 Sept but I only recently opted to send 30 min readings so won’t qualify under the 20 day rule.Magnitio said:Now, should I start a ‘It’s not fair’ rant🤔Download the App BRIGHT and you should be able to see 30minute usage if you are on that profile - and for how long you have been on it.Either way, I’m ok on the 20 day rule.1 -

I've signed up (Agile/Agile Outgoing) but didn't really understand that point 15.
We don't generally use much 4-7pm anyway as we're generally running on battery power. Recently we've had a few poor solar days so a bit more use, no clue if it will be worth us trying.
Assuming we will be kicked off if we manually fill the battery just before a "Saving Session"?Barnsley, South Yorkshire

Seems thats the wrong link apologies.badger09 said:
Thanks for the link. As we currently don’t use much during the time period mentioned (16.30 - 18.30) there seems little point registering interest. Apart from curiosity of course.Chrysalis said:Only two suppliers interested, and its well hidden away on Octopus website, I actually had to google it with some specific words, one also has to apply to take part. No wonder they said not many were interested, I expect most dont even know the scheme exists.
Its not mentioned on Octopus website whether it requires a specific tariff, but has been mentioned on MSE that to benefit from this you need high peak hours load in the first place, if you already light at peak, you have little to shift.
The apply link is here.
