Lebara - No Voicemail Notifications?

Moved to Lebara sim only from THREE UK yesterday and I use an IPhone 12. Really happy with Lebara so far, however have found one major drawback....
I have set up voicemail and can listen to messages by calling 121 which is working fine.
The problem is, I don’t get a notification when someone leaves a voicemail. Most networks (including Vodafone who Lebara use) utilise “visual voicemail” for this which gives a notification on the phone when you receive a voicemail (within the voicemail tab of the “phone” app), along with a list of all voicemail messages.
My previous network, Three, is the only major network who don't utilise "Visual Voicemail", but would send me a SMS notification when I received a voicemail.
With Lebara, I have no way of knowing I’ve received a voicemail! No notification at all. Surely this can’t be right? Visual voicemail not working and no option to receive an SMS notification.
I contacted Lebara about the issue on chat they said I just need to call 121 and check for voicemails, there is no option to receive an notification. They said the same when I called. Surely I’m not expected to just randomly call 121 periodically each day to check for voicemails?
I cannot believe that Lebara cannot send a notification when a voicemail is received. That is incredibly basic stuff.
I downloaded their data settings as instructed, some visual voicemail settings were added to my phone (wap.vodafone.co.uk), but these don’t seem to work.
Can any Lebara users clarify the above? Is there indeed no way to receive a voicemail notification?
I need a notification when I receive a voicemail. If Lebara can’t provide such a basic feature, I will be moving to a different network. Shame really.

Hi
I know it may not be what you want but you should get a text alert.
Cheers0 -
I’d be completely happy with a text alert, but it’s not happening. That’s what i got with THREE.
Are you with Lebara? And do you receive a text alert when someone leaves you a voicemail?0 -

Yes recently moved to Lebara. I did think voicemail would be automatic but did need to set it up (various options most of which I ignored) but I do receive a text alert.

How long after you receive a voicemail does the SMS come through? Is it pretty instant? I left myself a text voicemail a couple of hours ago and have still not received a text or anything.

Yeh it's more or less instant.0

I am on an Android phone, so it may be different, but when I set up voicemail the default setting seems to be called Alert & Deliver. It gives an audible and visual notification. A symbol appears over the phone icon on my home screen. Text message is an alternative option. The same audible/visual notification system seems to work for missed calls. It all worked okay for me for several days, until I ported my number to Lebara and all settings were lost and I discovered by chance that voicemail had been deactivated. I had to set it up again. I also lost wifi calling after the port and am waiting to hear back from them on that.0
