Smart Meters - EDF

Careful with EDF CS. They were giving me the hard sell for a smart meter, even telling me my current one was dangerous. I complained of course and I received a grovelling apology and a promise never to contact me again about the matter. Despite my best tactics for compo I sadly received none this time.

That's at best poor advice or at worst a poor attempt at trolling.

Given that EDF is a French company one would expect that surcharges might be discussed with BEIS if smart meter take up starts to drop off.

EDF already do this, £100 credit I believe 

I have not seen that in any of the mails and texts I regularly get from them.

However they are currently offering the chance of winning £2500 in a monthly draw just for registering interest.
