36MB Fibre+ landline (no calls) should be no more than £23.99/month with Plusnet which I don't consider silly pricing....
With regard to the OneStream offers that looked competitive - I've just been though the sign-up process from the MSE offers page - watch out!
1. The 'process' will not allow you to keep your landline without signing up to a calls package (min 5 GBP pcm). If you select 'I don't want to make calls' then you lose your tel number and any ability to receive calls as well.
2. The 'process' auto signs you up to their deluxe BB router at a cost of 0.00 per month, but read the small print..they start charging you for it after 2 months (3.95 pcm). The only router that's free is their basic one (also listed at 0.00 pcm), and that's mono band WIFI.
All of the above is in addition to their auto-sign up of trial software that they charge you for after 2 months - but there is a warning on the MSE offers page about that. You just have to call them to cancel before your time is up.
You've got to hand it to them for trying every trick in the book.
