..please find enclosed the Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.
If you have a copy of the N279 there is no need for a WS. This is them officially telling the court of the discontinuance.

Making an "error" leading to a CCJ would be an abuse of the court process and sanctions and costs. Very unlikely the solicitors would pull a stroke like that.
    • All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's
    • When on someone else's be it a road, a pavement, a right of way or a property there are rules. Don't assume there are none.
    • "Free parking" doesn't mean free of rules. Check the rules and if you don't like them, go elsewhere
    • All land is owned. If you are not on yours, you are on someone else's and their rules apply.

Why not just forward that and ask your court for reassurance that the hearing is vacated, as it is worrying you?
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Good idea I will do just that.
  • Just reading through your thread, I'm waiting to hear from dcbl too. WS last day tomorrow, already submitted mine, no sign from them. Hoping to get the same email as you did some time this week!

Hopefully they drop the claim and save the hassle of wasting yours and the courts time! 🤞🏻
