Spectos/Royal Mail Monitoring and Posting Panel

I find it interesting the link posted above says "Spectos.. Again" - indicating this isn't the first time this has happened. Has anyone contacted the Data Protection email to find out just exactly what informnation of yours has been released?

For most people arguably, address, name, email that's likely already around the internet, given the huge amount of leaks over the years with various companies and mailing lists people are probably or were on - so really that side I'm not concerned about - but do expect some sort of compenstation as it's not the first time clearly and we are unable to actually log things - and potentially have all of our information across the web

I was due to start back imminently, as in next week. I hope I at least get a presentation pack before they inevitably kick us all off the panel for being exposed.

No communication since being told they have had all our details stolen.  Offers of work incoming since the hack.  Perhaps they need a lawsuit slapped on them to help them do something.

Have now got a backlog of items which need recorded and can’t access the unaddressed mail survey either.

Am surprised that we haven’t received another update, especially that it now looks like our personal information is “out and about”. 

I’m a bit concerned about the data breach. My surname is a bit obscure and I’ve got valid reasons for not wanting my address to be known to all and sundry (a family falling out years ago), I can’t say I’m a happy camper right now.

Spectos have a duty to find out what data has been leaked. They are a big company and their work involves enormous amounts of data. I expect thay won't make any further announcements until they have ascertained what happened. There have responsibilities defined by EU and German law to abide by.

This was my original thought when I heard about this and the fact we'd all been outed but didnt want to write it a d give anyone ideas!!

It's been approx a week since jt started so I find It strange too that there's been no update as to what to do and what current status is. 

As members of the panel, Spectos have a duty of care towards us too. 
We are their assets that they did not adequately protect. I wonder what the Information Commissioner will have to say because this is obviously a huge breach the fact they are still out of action.

I was just wondering if they've been closed down and we're yet to be informed however I've literally just received reward stamps for April! So it seems they're still functioning somewhere? 🤔

As somebody with an IT background I find the lack of Comms extremely poor.

A lot of the housewives who chunter on on the mailagents/Spectos FB page aren't overly worried all their data may now be in dodgy hands.  A very blase attitude indeed,
