Why are people so miffed about the Christmas stamps? What's so special about them?
Kantar gave us 3 extras during the year. A Christmas stamp pack at Christmas, a diary in the New Year and some sweets at Easter. I was only with them for a year but these were extras. It looks like Spectos are only giving them to people on the panel at  Christmas. Seems a bit mean.

Yes I remember, the kids ate the sweets, i never used the diary and i sold the christmas stamps same as i sell all the special packs, just wondering why people are getting so annoyed particularly about the christmas ones.
  • I’m assuming its because those who are active over the Christmas period get an extra stamp presentation pack, which considering we all do the same amount of surveys etc while on the panel is a bit unfair.

As I recall from the Kantar days - the Christmas bonus was not a presentation pack; it was an extra booklet of Christmas 1st class which was rather more useful to those who still send Christmas cards.  I was in the lucky group since my live period usually ran Sep/Oct to Mar/Apr meaning I got all the bonuses for about 6 years.  Since Spectos took over, I have slipped round the year a bit and I'm now due to go live again at New Year.   If I get a 2024 Christmas pack as my restart, I'll be a bit miffed as it's not as useful.  I haven't yet broken into the 2023 I got last year!
I need to think of something new here...
  • Hopefully you lovely people can help me -
I have received my first ever mail bag to send (been doing this for years, never had to send a bag before)
Do I just take the bag to post office with manifest sheet and they sort it out?
Do I leave the red label on it?
I presume the cost of postage is already paid.

Yes, just take the mail bag as it is, with the manifest/ sales order sheet. Leave everything on the bag and do not write anything on the tag. The PO will keep the sheet.

I received the same (a booklet of 8 1st class stamps) and turned the parcel bag inside out a couple of times to look for the rest! Then wondered what all the fuss about Christmas stamps was about. Honestly you're not missing much.

Whilst the extra Christmas stamps aren't much, I guess it's a little bonus for those who are live as "December is an important month in the postal measuring world".

Yes, the rest of the year counts for nothing.
