Prob because they have many missing transponders. Maybe if they vetted panelists before adding them to only allow people with more then 2 brain cells to join.
I agree. When you see some of the questions raised here you wonder how much effort people are putting into doing the survey. They did say, in a newsletter, that the better performing panellists would get priority when coming off their rest period.
Although some of it may  be down to dim people, I do wonder if Spectos systems/RIFD tags are a bit dodgy. I've been creditted for returning tags that I've never had, tags have been recorded as recieved back by them before they've even been sent to me and others have just disappeared into the ether!

The PO system is bound to miss a few going through their system. Some RFID tags may have low batteries.

    In my email this morning:

We are just checking on your account and can see that you have some outstanding item queries that are yet to be resolved.

Can you please log into your account and click on the little bell symbol, it is just below the bonus points section. You will then see all your notifications with the bundles to be posted and queries that say ‘We have a question’. Please click into this and answer the questions that come about. If you are unsure please indicate this accordingly.

It is important you check this section regularly, this helps validate the data and allows us to update this data to Royal Mail in a timely manner.

If you have any outstanding RFID tags to be returned back to us please send them as soon as you can. Your points will be credited automatically once the transponders are scanned back into our system.
Nothing showing in the app (and I last looked yesterday lunchtime to record arrivals).  I had queries to resolve maybe a week ago so are they sending an e-mail late?  Or is the app not showing me the new queries?  Can I be bothered to reply?

And a second email to remind me to send back transponders.  As well as the permanent reminder in the app.  They are in the post, {expletive deleted}!  Even though the postbox is 40 paces from my front door I'm not going out in the rain to post just a transponder - I take any with me any time I do go out.
I had an e-mail this morning telling me I have outstanding responders - seeing as I've been resting for the last 6 months I'm hardly likely to have any still lying around!  Have sent them a polite response suggesting that they may be mistaken ...
Same here and considering I return the tags the day received plus I am resting not too impressed
They sent me one letter asking me to return 4 transponders and another letter today that I had 64 outstanding transponders , I resigned  6 months ago.
    Hello ______
    Thank you for your message.
If you dont have any RFIDs please ignore the letter and messages.
    Regards,
    Kirsty

That's the response I got after they kept messaging/letter to return RIFD. While I'm on my rest period. Looks like they send out mass letters/messages to anyone and everyone to track down the tags.

When I came back after resting period whoever had done that 6 months here instead of me had changed the town’s sorting office daily last collection of post by times to the end of the morning hour slot for when it is open for physical collection of an item from the sorting office!

Does anyone know how to mark a notification as read? I've had one pending for ages!

    You can't. It's a known bug.
  • Apologies if I'm repeating others.

Has anyone else had Spectos mail in a HMRC envelope? It threw me a bit! Had a nightmare with HMRC a few years back (their fault, it all got sorted) and wasn't happy to see one of their letters on the mat today! Wonder if they might get some people not opening it...

Yes - I had one earlier in the year - and yes - it made me worry for a second!
I need to think of something new here...

Yep, it did panic me for a bit until I’d managed to open it! HMRC still send post for me to my parent’s address so I wondered what I’d done that they’d spent time trying to catch up with me.

  • I seem to be receiving a query on every bundle I send recently as "items  have not been tracked on the journey through the royal mail network".

I wonder if that might be due to the fact that they've not had the usual trackers in them!  :D
  • Received a proper Christmas presentation pack today (I just had a pack of four christmas stamps earlier in the month). I am about to finish a sending period.
