My post office just scans the manifest and then staples the manifest to the red and white tag. I then put it at the back of the shop with the other parcels and mail bags for collection.

Got advised I hadn't completed all the days but I had taken screen shots of each week with all sections completed (did not attach the screenshots). No idea what I did wrong..... Will have one last shot at it with this one and see how I get on and take screen shots again.Debt Free Wannabe by 1 December 2027

Thanks - I did go back and ask what I should do differently. They advised I missed sections out and should ensure I fill them all in (I have screen shots of them all filled in, including overdue) but have credited the points as a goodwill gesture. Still none the wiser what I did wrong.0

Regarding the cable ties that are very tightly pulled to seal the mailbag....there is a way that you can loosen the ties.
It involves a tiny screwdriver - a screwdriver you use to tighten the screws on your glasses is the ideal size, if you have one. I got a set of 3 tiny screwdrivers in a christmas cracker.
After I've loosened the tie, I fold the Sales Order Summary (Manifest) in such a way that the barcode is showing uppermost and slot it through the cable tie, with the barcode completely clear of the tie, then I re-tighten the tie (leaving it loose enough that there's a bit of wriggle-room).
I hold the bag up to the counter clerk and she scans the barcode with a handheld scanner, then either takes the bag and puts it behind the counter, or points to a hatch in the post office and asks me to leave the bag there.
It sounds a right faff but it doesn't take long and it seems to work well - I've been posting parcels for the best part of a year with no queries so far.
I expect some will say there's no need to go to all that trouble, and that's not what's being asked of us, but it only takes a few seconds and I'd prefer to do it this way.2 -
I just hand the sack and manifest sheet over, they scan the barcode, stamp the sheet and they keep both, that's it!I then go out of the store and scan the barcode into the app to report that it's been done.3

I hand the sack and manifest over the counter. As soon I get a visual acknowledgement I am out of the door.Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning. Albert Einstein4

I wonder if the counter staff keep the SOS or if it goes off with the bag? Anyone know?0
