Even if you emailed them today, you’re unlikely to get any response for at least 2 weeks!

Contacted them via chat on the website - seemed very helpful but we'll wait and see if anything is actually resolved ...

Yikes - I wasn't expecting the quote to look like that!  That is indeed the chat function I used - fairly quick turnround on chat as well, but like I say too early to tell if it achieves anything

I am very confused and wonder if anyone can help?  I joined Spectos in late April and have completed both the CDM survey and the UA one. I received the first transponder to send in June and sent four more in July (not sure if this is when you are officially on the live survey?). I received an email last week which I responded to straight away asking me to return any outstanding transponders and so I replied that I had sent them all.  I have had one bundle to post which I did last Friday. Now today I have had a letter to thank me for the last 6 months (obviously standard letter but inaccurate) and that I am being put on a rest period for 6 months.  I am expecting one more bundle to post in mid August and that is it!  I don't feel I have even got going........

Hello, introducing myself and joining the discussion on this thread.  I received an email from Spectos a couple of weeks ago informing me I am back on the live panel although I have yet to receive anything other than the presentation pack and regular stamp books and nothing is showing in the app.  I've been 'resting' since Kantar ceased operating the survey but have completed several CDM / UaM surveys in the intervening months.  I've been luckier than some here I think - I've had no problems with these surveys / rewards.
I haven't read all 200 pages of the thread but from the bits I have skimmed it seems like there have been a few teething problems with Spectos's running of the live panel so I'll be glad to be part of this discussion for your wisdom.

I've been the same! Signed up in March, had a few transponders and the surveys and then 2 bundles to post, one this week and one next week. Thought the start of the bundles must be the start of my 6 month stint but then got the email to say I'm being rested! Very confused but just going to go with the flow!

Welcome here, and no wonder you are confused!

They may ask you to do correctly delivered and unaddressed mail surveys while you are resting.

I would just go with the flow. They are not very communicative or logical.

There are some here who’ve been put back on live panel after very short resting periods.

Looks like this is a bigger mess than we all thought. I did not know people were having short rest periods and also short times on the panel. I think I got off lightly as my stint seemed to go by the book. I will go back on when asked though. Not interested in a rest period.

Thank you everyone for your replies.  I would be interested to hear if others have had such short live periods.  Mine was just over 4 weeks! I have been directly in touch with Spectos, quoting that on the video it states that you would have a 6 month rest period after 6 months on the live survey. The response that I got was 'that unfortunately, some of our panellists have not been on the panel for very long as we are over-subscribed in some areas meaning we are required to reduce the panel.'  When I asked if that meant I would get a shorter rest period I was told that whilst possible, if they were short of people, it was unlikely as a 6 month period was mandatory. It's disappointing! However I will be getting a presentation pack (my first one) as I am due to be rested. Do the stamps stop during the rest period?  I think I am half way to getting a £5 voucher....so now will likely have to wait for 6 months.

It's £25 for a voucher not £5.
