I only checked our 15 month old Samsung wash-dryer's energy consumption a short while before seeing this thread. Daytime wash / dry is £1.32 (61p E7) and daytime wash only 25p (12p E7).

Wash and dry was 1.32 and wash was 25p.

Is the 61p and 12p the different rates you pay on E7? So wash was at night and over 2kWh and wash and dry during the day also just over 2kWh?

Yes, we're on economy 7. Lifted from our model's data sheet on Samsung's website wash only is 0.627 kWhrs and wash / dry 3.26 kWhrs. We also have solar (free wash / dry when the sun is shining) so I was discussing with my wife the best time to use the washing machine. Cloudy / raining: E7 (if not desperate for clean kit), sunny: late morning - early afternoon.

Thanks @Slinky - I saw that Very had them, but don't have an account - maybe I need to open one.

You can just order and pay which is what I did, if you very carefully pick your way past the attempt to make you open a credit account.
I did just that. Ordered from Very @ 10.30 yesterday. 2 x Tapo P110 delivered by YODEL @ 10.18 today. £23.97 inc delivery VERY impressed😉

For information Tapo smart plugs both with and without energy monitoring are currently at reduced prices on Amazon.
I’ve just had a quick look at the P110 with energy monitoring. Amazon offer for 2 is £17.99 for Prime members, but £27.99 without.

I’ve ordered 2 from Very £23.97 including delivery following  mention by another poster
Do Amazon actually have them (P110) available at the moment - I looked yesterday and they were giving a delivery date of 23rd November.  I too got a couple from Very, coming tomorrow.

They did when I looked yesterday

@badger09 - Yes, thank you, I found them later in the Prime Early Access stuff - but when I posted, they weren't showing up through a general search.

I got 2 myself from Very earlier - not impressed - Yodel couldn't be bothered to walk down the path to my front door so threw them over my garden wall onto a wheelie bin in the pouring rain.  They had the nerve to email me that they were left in a safe place and they'd left me a card to tell me where - neither of which was true.   Luckily they did email however, otherwise they'd still be there.  I'm just about to install one on my freezer, but I don't have enough laundry waiting to be washed yet to test the other on the washing machine - which is where the second one is destined.

Ours from Very arrived very promptly following day. Only ordered one, currently monitoring the freezer which has been on for 13.3 hours and has used .3kwh. Was using about 73.5 w when on this morning.

The reason I've put one on the freezer is that it was badly frosted up a month ago and I defrosted it and there seemed to be a distinct drop in energy consumption - so I was curious if defrosting it had made so much difference. For the couple of hours it been on, it's fluctuated between 0.7w draw and 80.8 w.  Which is a bit less than I was expecting.  I'm interested to see the 24 hour consumption.  It might also prove useful to monitor if gradual frosting impacts on efficiency.
