Salut bb - I make my own bread - NOT WITH A BREADMAKER, I HAVE HANDS[if little] - and will do some for you at special knockdown price of ONLY £69.99.
Anyone else cross about Mr T abandoning points incentives for much measlier Money Off's?

Yesterday my adsa had over 2 shopping trolleys full of veg reduced, and loads of stuff all over the shop reduced.
Got organic broccoli 20p (and was much firmer [so will last longer] then the loose brocolli I'd picked up)
sugar snap peas 30p
asparagus 50p
large value mshrooms 50p
3 pack of peppers 50p
celery 30p
grapes 80p
limes 40p
also managed to get a loaf of bread, prawns, pastrami, volauvents and some lamb reduced.
They also had loads of salads @ 40p +50p bananas, apples, pears, oranges, clementines, herbs, prepared fruit, mash @ 25p, beans, spuds, sprouts and more.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
the one thing I never buy reduced in asdas are their chiller products such as humus, coleslaw etc as they are often bast their best on the day (v. annoying paying for off food) and definitely no good the next day.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0

I wouldn't buy humus either, well - not to eat.

I'm appalled at the ignorance of 'use by' and 'best before' dates shown. 'Use by' means just that! Consuming the product after the use by date may be harmfull to your health, particularly to elderly or young children. That is why it is illegal for shops to sell products beyond the 'use by' date.
'Best before' dates are different however. It only means that the quality may not be as good after the date has been reached. It is not illegal to sell products with expired best before dates.
There is no such thing as a 'sell by' date.
When I had the misfortune of being a reducer, I would run and hide from my 'regulars'! It is soul destroying being harrassed to reduce things further, and in some cases, customers would hide things earlier in the day only to retrieve them near closing time to get a good reduction! Happy times, not!!0
