            Hi everyone
I haven't heard back from my email to CEO or anyone else but good news I went onto my account this morning and it is now showing -£10 balance. (Do I owe £10 if so don't mind paying that)
I believe we are on the priority register but I will check.
I don't know much about Attendance Allowance but will look into this.
Thank you, everyone of you for your help. I am just hoping this doesn't happen again next month.

            Should have read Minus £100

Attendance allowance helps you pay for personal care if you have a need (you don't actually have to pay for it, just need it).
 It's not means tested.
There are 2 levels, the highest is if you need care at night.
You said you were caring for your husband so on the face of it he might qualify.
I recently applied for my dad and things like help with fastening clothes or help with communication still count.
The form is a bit of a pain as they want a lot of detail e.g. medication, doctors, daily tasks, aids you use etc.
but it's worth doing as the lower rate is £61.85 per week.
It also may qualify you for other benefits such as the current cost of living payment for disabled people (£150).0

Thank you. He gets higher rate disability. I thought attendance allowance was included?0

Sorry, then I don't think you can get it if you already get DLA.0

            That's what I thought. Thank you x0

My good news didn't last long. I went to my gas on Wednesday to find my balance owing (new balance) is £282.27
I received this from Customer ServiceHi,Thank you for your reply. We can certainly remove the meter. The cost would be £238.41 which will be applied to the account once the job has been completed. /If the job is incomplete this job may be subject to a abort cost of between £55-65.If the job is incomplete either due to no one being in at the property to provide access at the time of the agreed visit.or for any other abort reason that was not caused by the installer (eg access to the meter was blocked) a charge will be applied to this account.Last bill02 May 2022 Customer read: 25108 Jul 2022 Estimated read: 383Gas units used 132 = 1469.87Unit rate 1469.87 kWh x 7.541pStanding Charge 67 days x 0.000Please let me know what you would like us to do.Regards

 Thank you
I am also very confused where does the 251 come from as you say your meter reads 00000 ?
Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0

I have already replied with that question to them and waiting for them to respond0

The good news there is the zero standing charge, so if you can prove the estimate is wrong then you only have the removal fee to deal with.... but if the standing charge stays zero then it may not be necessary to remove it...All depends on where that 251 reading came from...0
