For an online purchase you have the right to return it within 14 days for a refund, providing you don't do more to it than you could in a shop.  If you haven't even unwrapped it, you're entitled to a refund once you return it and they receive it.  You may just have to be patient and await their response, but if you have evidence you formally applied to return it within 14 days of receiving it, you're on solid ground.

Your bank won't help, because you ordered it, even if you didn't intend to.

You need to look at your phone pay settings, because I can't possibly accidentally buy one of those, and I use google pay.  I got a few steps in and still didn't reach a point where one more tap would purchase it.  You must have some pretty open settings in play if you're able to accidentally populate an entire purchase webpage, checkout and pay with one accidental tap!  No two-step authorisation, for example?

Firstly the delete item from the cart is working perfectly fine but more importantly if you decide you dont want to buy you simply dont click the checkout button and the cart will just abandon.

Secondly, yes if you agree to pay using GooglePay or equivalent it will populate all the delivery details etc but it requires you to take several steps before that happens. We've all had times "late at night" after a few drinks and we've ordered thing we regret in the morning but dont need to come up with a story about how it happened.

All of that is broadly irrelevant however as any distance purchase you have cancellation rights (though enforcing those rights can be variable). Their website suggests they go beyond your statutory rights and offer 30 day returns rights.

When did you email them asking about returning it? They state replies can take up to 3 days.

As per @Aylesbury_Ducks post I think Occam's razor applies here.

That website doesn't have T&Cs, it has "Terms of Service" which immediately suggests to me that it isn't in the UK.  If you read the Terms of Service I think it's probably Australian.

So no statutory consumer protection under UK law?

Edit:  It actually says governed by the laws of South Australia...
