You don't need to wait for the connector to see if it's an antenna or sat dish, just take the plug off the end of normal coax or whatever comes out of your TV, poke the centre conductor in the hole and ensure the screen touches the outside thread and that none of the screen shorts out to the centre conductor. Use a small bit of tape to hold it in place while you check.
If you need more cable, I recommend Webro products, better quality than the cheap stuff from Screwfix etc.Signature on holiday for two weeks0 -
