The main issue here is to maintain DD in the current account. Other condition to get blue reward is easy to achieve. Nowadays there is ever-increasing difficult to generate DD. Post Office, BM savings where the people could easily generate a few dozens of DDs have bitten the dust.

For some people there is a more productive way of using the DD to generate more income. If it is just for the chasing the Rainy Day Saver with 5% up to 5k, for some people there are better alternatives out there.
