I too am getting the UD001 error message. It has been more than four days now and I have had a message via the app saying all security checks have been completed and I now have full functionality.
£800 has been paid in and 2 DDs set up but still unable to switch on Blue Rewards.0 -
I got the UD001 error message in app, yet everything worked fine in online banking instead.1

Off topic - but in a nut shell the Lloyds Club is useful only for mags/cinema tickets now:mostilts said:To save me wading thru the small print, how many accounts can I have? Wife and I have 3 Lloyds Club accounts, me only, her only and joint. Each Club has £5000 in it, 2 direct debits and I’ve set up standing orders to cycle £1500 around the accounts. £1500 cycles in and about £1300 cycles out of each account so that there is funds to pay the small monthly direct debits. Each account pays about £3.50 interest a month (it was a lot more years ago when it first started). Can I do this with Barclays, as the Lloyds Club is now not competitive?
You realise the the DDs only gain you interest? And the interest is 0.78% for £5k?
You can release your £15k and get 6 times the interest on £10k (£15k?) in the Barclays ac and/or in a top easy access ac (see below) or fix at 4%+..
If you want to keep your 'incentives' just cycle the £1500 round the Clubs to avoid the £3 charge.
If not switch them to Nationwide or the like for upto £200 each etc
Done correctly that's c.6 times the interest you're getting now... and £600 tax free holiday money!

Thanks. I just registered for online banking and was able to switch on Blue Rewards and open the Rainy Day saver from there.wiseonesomeofthetime said:I got the UD001 error message in app, yet everything worked fine in online banking instead.1 -
Soulsaver, thank you for your advice. It looks like shifting the arrangement to 2 Barclays accounts although with interest rates sliding upwards at such a fast rate, maybe waiting a couple of weeks might see better offers emerging. But thanks.0

You are risking nothing by moving £5K into the Barclays Rainy Day saver straight away, as you can withdraw some or all of it whenever you like.mostilts said:Soulsaver, thank you for your advice. Tried to open an account via the app. ID failed and was told to ring a general number to book an appointment and to bring ID in. On the phone I was told all 3 local Banks are not taking any appointments.
No other way to fix the problem so I cannot open an account.0 -
The same thing happened to me on Thursday but online. There was a very confusing Equifax question that I obviously did not answer correctly. I'm not going to bother turning up in a branch and will have to miss out on thisshoom said:Tried to open an account via the app. ID failed and was told to ring a general number to book an appointment and to bring ID in. One of the Equifax questions confused me. Asked if I had opened a Yorkshire Bank account on a certain month/year - I answered yes, although it was actually a Virgin account.clowning said:

I get so confused with app being for different products than the online Virgin accounts. I had a dreadful time a while ago when trying to move an ISA from Virgin (online) to an exclusive ISA (app), as they act as two separate companies under the Virgin banner.

Hi, just trying to open Barclays Blue Rewards but getting the old UD001 error code. The direct debits are both active and have already been taken out.
Do I need to put the £800 in prior to opening? Tbh I don't have huge faith in dealing with Barclays, nothing ever seems straightforward, so I haven't called the 0333 number yet.0
